One Direction Gets Dissed HARD By William H. Macy! Watch His Shade Slinging Interview HERE!

Remember when Paul Rudd HIGHlariously confessed his love for One Direction last month on Saturday Night Live?

K, well this is the opposite of that!

Actor William H. Macy may be 1D's biggest. hater. EVER!

He explained to Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan yesterday morning about how his and wife Felicity Huffman’s daughters Sophia and Georgia are sort of obsessed with the British boy band. There’s even a life-sized Harry Styles cutout in their house - and it scares the sh*t out of Willy!

HA!

Mr. Macy also admitted to braving a concert with his Directioner daughters! The experience was…well, less than enjoyable for him! William told Kelly and Michael:

“I’ve been in show biz all my life and so let me just say, those guys can sing, they are very talented, they couldn’t put on a good show with a gun to their head!”

OMG! Why don’t you tell us how you really feel, William!

Bill then even got up to do a demonstration of how horrible One Direction’s choreography is, and essentially just marched back and forth on stage!

To be fair, the guys will be the first to admit that they can’t dance!

Oh, to be a dad of a teenage girl. Well, you can trash talk all you want, William, but deep down, we know you dug your One Direction live experience!

LOLz!

Ch-ch-check out the video above to hear more about the Macy family’s big night out to the 1D concert!

The boys have made it very clear that they are NOT DANCERS and hate dancing. All the shade for this band is undeserved. They never have promoted themselves as dancers and their almost sold out tours can attest to their popularity. As if someone his age would enjoy a 1D concert; however, I would, although I am old enough to be the boy's…aunty.

Keep hating. One Direction is laughing all the way to the bank. We've all heard the stories that oh their 15 minutes were going to end. People have been saying that since they first arrived in America, and I'm pretty sure people have been saying that in the UK as well, but look where they are now? 3 albums down, millions of albums sold across the world, and oh wow, a male group that can actually sing and play instruments? Wow! That must be something! Reminds me of a young Westlife. Westlife didn't dance either, but they sang and they put on one hell of a show. One Direction is doing the same. It's a shame that Westlife never managed to make it in America, as they only had one hit here, but they were still a massive success in the rest of the world, and for 14 years! Case and point… you don't have to dance for people to flock to your shows!

I like 1D, and I am old enough to be their mother. But the bands today do not compare to what we grew up with. Rolling Stones, The Who etc.. This band will not stand the test of time.

I think people are confused …. 1d are not only popular in America, England, etc., they are everywhere, they are like disease (positive) I have too much respect for them … because they do not act on their concerts, have good relationship with the audience (most importantly) all are happy and enjoy together … to be honest I'm surprised that popularity does not change too much the guys. they are the best.

Bahaha, I love One Direction, but Macy's comments were hilarious.

I mean, you have to give the guy a break, concerts back from his time when he was his daughters' age were waaaaay different than they are now, especially from One Direction.

And it is true that the boys have all said that they don't like dancing, especially choreographic dancing, but they still have a good time and that's all that really matters. The sandwich thing, though, that did make me laugh. I can imagine Harry stuffing his face while the other guys are like facing the audience and singing all seriously x]

Re: kiley congdon – Wrong. Look up William H. Macy and scroll down to his awards. Macy's been acting, and incredibly well, since 1978. Don't get your little 1D knickers in a knot. It's generation gap and how parents view kid's artists, and that will be you some day.

This was a funny interview. Sometimes we need to lighten up. I'm a 1D fan, love love love them. I spend time watching interviews and crap about them but what he said about the concert is 100% correct, they don't need to dance but my goodness it feels like there is no sense of direction on stage. While I'm just a couple of years older than Louis, I do think if their audience was a older group … 20's up then some of the stuff they do in concerts wouldn't be done. Harry eats a sandwich and all the pre-teens and teens start screaming… my response … wtf? :-S
