Break ups are so hard! Especially when there are cameras catching all the drama!
On the season 9 premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Bruce Jenner and Kris Jenner finally split and it was tough to watch.
In the end, it was Bruce who brought up the fact that the two were better when they were living apart, and that he didn't want to move back in with the family:
“We both just seem to be doing better with our space. I’m not looking to get divorced or anything, but having our space is kinda nice. Why should we feel pressure from the media and public opinion to define our marriage? We both have to admit that the energy between us seems to be better when we’re apart right now — we’ve been together for 23 years. It seems to be we’re doing better being apart, and just seeing each other here and there. To be honest with you, I can’t see it going back.”
It seems the idea of separation was mutually accepted, as Kris kept it very cordial in her response:
“We have to define our marriage the way we want it to be. I think that we just both need to be happy. Isn’t that the bottom line? Life is so short.”
Looks we just witnessed the population of Splitsville, USA going up by 2!
Ch-ch-check out the two break the news to the whole family…AFTER THE JUMP!!!
"I was under a lot of pressure from a company that I was previously working with and they wanted me to lose weight fast. So, they got me with a nutritionist and had me on all these supplements and I was injecting myself."
As a result of these intense practices, the 25-year-old said she wasn't eating that much:
"It makes your body only need certain calories, so I ate 500 calories a day. This was the most unhealthy thing I'd ever done."
The gorgeous gal spilled that she went along with the unhealthy decision because she was afraid her album wouldn't get released if she didn't.
And even though JoJo followed the orders she was given, her album still wasn't released.
The artist explained that she felt awful after the injections and the supplements:
"I gained all the weight back. I felt terrible about myself. And I was upset that I even subscribed to the standard that they wanted me to be at."
Plus, the whole thing was pretty traumatic:
"I had to unpack some of the damage that being on that weird diet did to me. I couldn't work out. I didn't feel strong."
We can only imagine. So horrible.
But, we're glad that right now JoJo is happy, healthy, and touring with Fifth Harmony!
Plus, watch her open up about criticism and unrealistic beauty standards in the full interview (below)!
