Amanda Knox Found Guilty Of Murder AGAIN! What This New Verdict Means For the American Student!

An Italian court has once again found Amanda Knox guilty of killing her roommate Meredith Kercher. The verdict, issued by two judges and six jurors, came after several hours of deliberations.

Knox, who already served 4 years in an Italian prison between 2007 and 2011 before an appeals court threw out her previous conviction, is now being sentenced AGAIN!

This time to 28 years!

Amanda has been back in her hometown of Seattle though ever since she was released by authorities three years ago. But will she soon be brought back to Italy to be locked up a second time?

Not yet.

Just as before, when her original case was retried, the new guilty verdict will go before the Italian Supreme Court. But experts believe that with this second conviction, the high court will uphold the sentence given to Knox!

Italy would then have to fight for extradition of Knox and bring her back to Italy to serve her sentence.

But Amanda and her lawyers will likely argue that she cannot be convicted of the same crime twice. If she were to not surrender to Italian police, she would most likely be a wanted woman throughout the entire European Union. So traveling abroad would not be an option for the remainder of her life.

If the Supreme Court however throws out her case yet again, then Amanda might be in the clear for good.

The brother and sister of Meredith Kercher were at the courthouse today to hear the verdict being read.

There is no happy ending to this case. But whatever the outcome, we hope justice will be served.

AK and her attorneys can't argue that she can't be tried for the same crime twice because Italy's justice system does not have Double Jeopardy.

Re: Lily – Really? That is interesting, did not know that.
Don't know enough about the case to make an informed judgment.

Personally I don't believe she did it but even if she did, this is not justice. She served her sentence. 4 years. If the prosecution had even close to an open and shut case, she would still be in prison. The Italian justice system has gone from looking bad to ridiculous.

Re: Lily – That would be true, if she were in Italy under their jurisdiction and control.

The thing is justice has already been served: Meredith's murderer is already in prison, he confessed he killed her and they even found the weapon with his fingerprints on! Does the Italian Supreme Court think Amanda is guilty just because she was in the room next door when Meredith was killed? Well, then I hope I'll never happen to be on a crime scene otherwise I could spend 4 years in prison as an innocent person and would have my life destroyed for no reason whatsoever.

it seems to me that she did serve her sentence and even if Italy doesn't have the double jeopardy law we do so we shouldn't allow her to be extradited regardless of their laws due to the fact that it's against our laws. I think we should tell Italy no deal and leave her alone.

This is a psychopath. She's guilty, you idiots.

Learn discernment. Or are you people psychopaths too?

Twenty-eight years? She should be given LIFE. She is a sick person.
