Lana Del Rey Gets Rough In Previously Unreleased Demos! Listen HERE!

| Filed under: Music MinuteLana Del Rey

New Lana Del Rey??

Well, not exactly new. Lana fans will notice this previously unreleased track (above) bears more than a passing resemblance to Hit & Run.

That's because Criminals Run The World was an early demo that served as a rough draft, kind of like the caterpillar that became the Hit butterfly.

It's not the incredible song it will be, but you can def see the potential - and some insight into the songwriting process.

If you haven't checked it out yet, you can also hear a rough snippet of the super seksi and still-unreleased Behind Closed Doors …AFTER THE JUMP!!!

Really sad that Lana's demos have leaked again. Hope this doesn't dissuade her from releasing Ultraviolence soon :(

Everything she touches today is golden. I am glad she got away from this type of music before she released her first album though and is going the direction she is currently going - it's much much better!

Usually like her songs but not this one….poor poor choice of music…but I think she will bounce back with something great….this song, won't be remembered by anyone

This is obviously something that's been recorded before the Born to Die album, and not a song that will be released in an upcoming one. It sounds like a really rough draft, and Lana herself said she moved into a different place lyrically; so no gangsters or criminals :-)
