Kanye West's $500K Infringement Lawsuit Was Thrown Out For A Reason That May Have You Questioning Our Legal System, But Not The Powers Of Yeezus

kanye west successfully evades legal battle infringement case 500k dismissed

Kanye wins! Praise Yeezus, Kanye WINS!

If you're like us, you only want the best for Kanye West!

Whether the subject up for debate is home renovations or parenting with Ryan Seacrest, we always hope the 36-year-old rapper ends up in a good place!

So, imagine our smiley-faced surprised when we learned Robert Poindexter's $500K infringement case against him had been dismissed!

As it turns out, a judge threw out the lawsuit because the plaintiff never served Kanye the proper paper work! So the case was “dismissed without prejudice for failure to prosecute” earlier this month!

Wow! We don't know how Kanye evaded getting served for twenty months - the dude must be a ninja - but we congratulate the new father on his legal victory!

For what it's worth, the plaintiff alleged that Kanye ripped off the R&B singer's 1972 song Trying Girls Out in his song Girls Girls Girls!

Do U think he got off too easy?!

This means that the guy suing him didn't care to serve him. Dismissed without prejudice means that if the guy files suit again Kanye can still be served. So maybe blame the guy who didn't do his diligence in serving him and not the legal system…rules of service work to benefit everyone, not just celebs.

Kanye is not off the hook yet, the guy can refile and serve him. And yes, I can definitely see Kanye hiding behind trash cans to dodge the server because he know he ripped the guy off. Trash……….Kanye and Kim

All that means is the guy needs to re file the paperwork and serve him properly. The case has not been dismissed dismissed. He hasn't gotten away with anything. Those two slime, vile, arrogant, illiterate and selfish people will some day pay for all of the vile things they are doing now to others.
