Philip Seymour Hoffman's Death Reveals Far Worse Drug Habit Than Anyone Knew

We knew that Philip Seymour Hoffman had a drug problem.

Just months before his death, the Magnolia star had checked into a detox center for his heroin addiction.

But we had no idea just how bad this problem had gotten. According to an inside source, the late actor was spending nearly $10,000 a month on heroin! The source says:

"He was what we call a heavy 'red liner.' That means he liked to shoot [heroin] with a needle, but he also sniffed it daily. And he was majorly hooked on Oxy, too."

Oxycontin too? So horrible.

As for what tragically took his life, we'll have to wait for toxicology reports to be sure. But law enforcement sources say they found at least TEN bags of heroin in the NYC apartment where he died, two of which were already empty.

Just so heartbreaking to hear.

    What insider ?
If the insider knew that, how come he never told anybody, stage an intervention?

he was a good actor, all fucked up like he was, imagine what would have been possible if he was clean, what a total waste to his profession and his family." Hey I want to get fucked up more, than be there for you children." or "Children you are not important enough for me, to want to get help, so I can be there for you." selfish. you have to figure out what is important. If we could ask Philip Seymour Hoffman right now what was really important, i'll bet he know that answer now, and i'll bet it wouldn't be heroin. sad, wasteful, tragic

Where was the 12-step religious AA/NA cult's "HIGHER POWER", and why didn't it use its higher-powers to stop him from using heroin?

The media doesn't know anything about dope.

50 Bags is a common purchase, called a "pack", 5 bundles. You pay the 4 bundle price and get 1 free.

An addict shoots maybe 2-3 bags to maintain, 4-5 to get high, depending on tolerance maybe more. Peak wears off after 6 hours or so, so it's easy to bang 20 bags a day.

All the other prescriptions found were things you take to ease withdrawal symptoms. He had all the preparations lined up to quit, and got a bad batch laced with Fentanyl.
