Four people have been arrested in connection with the drugs that police say killed Philip Seymour Hoffman.
NYPD believe the individuals now in custody supplied the heroin to the Oscar-winning actor which lead to his apparent overdose. Law-enforcement officials raided a Chinatown apartment late Tuesday night and busted Robert Vineberg, 57 and Thomas Kushman, 48, on felony drug possession charges!
Max Rosenblum and Juliana Luchkiw, both 22, were also arrested and charged with misdemeanor drug possession.
Vineberg, a musician who goes by Robert Aaron, has actually accompanied Wyclef Jean and Tom Jones in the past! While being taken into custody, Robert was asked if he had ever dealt any drugs to Philip Seymour Hoffman.
He quickly replied:
“No, I did not.”
Inside of the apartment however, police reportedly found 350 glassine envelopes filled with what's believed to be heroin!
Stay tuned for more details as they unfold.
