Its the end of an era! I think it is a good time for him to retire, he's been struggling for a few years, but he does leave a funny, entertaining legacy that wont be quickly forgotten!

This guy was Funny… good at the simple stand up comedy, which is what the Tonight Show is run off of… that first 15 min monologue. NONE of the other late night hosts have that raw capability … and the younger ones? They need the gimmicks, the star power of famous friends. Fallon won't have the Balls to go after politicians and celebs… he'll keep it "cool" …. Fallon is funny in his own way, but not in the Tonight Show way. Sad… whats sadder is that Jay really loved his job, you could tell… and he was good at it. Im in my 20s and like Fallon and JT and JZ and Beyonce and that whole thing, but even i know Jay can't be so easily replaced.

Jay let it go but I'm still bitter. Lol, Didn't have to happen, he should have been allowed to pull the plug when HE wanted to like Johnny. NBC forced him out.
