Whoa! Technology is crazy!
Although thanks to advances in filmmaking, it sounds like Philip might actually complete the project.
It is rumored that the film will use digital recreation to wrap up Philip's remaining scenes rather than rewriting the script or recasting his part.
It looks like Plutarch Heavensbee will make his final appearance thanks to technology as veteran special effects supervisor Rob Legato commented:
"These days the technology of using someone's likeness is a whole lot easier to do. I won't say you could generate a Philip Seymour Hoffman with all the acting ability, but you could certainly replicate him for a shot or two."
Philip had completed most of his filming, but he still had seven days scheduled to wrap up his role in Part 2 of the film.
We're not sure how the digital recreation will turn out, but it would be nice to see Philip's face up on the big screen once again.
