Go big or go home!
Jimmy Fallon is all set to take over The Tonight Show on February 17th, but not before breaking some records and having fun!
The Late Night host brought in 6.6 million viewers for his last show, and according to a report, he “set series records for the largest overall audience on any night of the week and highest key demo rating for a regularly scheduled episode.”
Also, it was the most total-viewers for Late Night since June 25, 1993 (7.5 million) when it was David Letterman's exit episode too!
So, how did he leave?
With the help of The Muppets of course!!!
Joining Jimmy, the Muppets all sang along to The Band’s song The Weight, while the host played the drums.
Following their song, Jimmy left the stage, and walked off to his new gig!
It really was a perfect sendoff! Ch-ch-check it out (below)!
