We are getting chills from this fantastic rendition of Yesterday!

Katy Perry took the stage at the Grammy Salute to The Beatles and performed a beautiful version of the classic Yesterday in front of Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr!

We don't know about KatyKat, but we would've been so nervous to perform such AH-Mazing and classic hit in front of the legendary Beatles, but she did a fantastic job!

She totally did that song justice.

Srsly, there aren't enough words in the world to describe her phenomenal performance!

Take a look and listen at her rendition of Yesterday (above)!

Right. Perez is completely objective when it comes to Katy — this piece is the most overblown fluff he has ever written. Ridiculous nonsense!

She could sing "Mary Had A Little Lamb," and Perez would go apeshit over it. There was nothing special about this. It was a very average performance, glorified karaoke at best. Paul & Ringo looked unimpressed.

That was the worst thing I've ever heard… in context it was good for Katy Perry but as far as talented musicians go… that was horrible

Since you kissed a girl & liked it, does that give you the right to butcher a legendary beatles song?

Beautiful and also great to see Peter Frampton again and so soon after the Grammy's. He's popping up everywhere lately… good for him…

If you're a ticket broke with tons of Katy Perry concert tickets, there's a reason why…people who got to concerts like to hear a real singer which Katy Perry is not

If you're a ticket broker with tons of katy perry concert tickets to sell, just tell people that she's going to get naked & more importantly NOT GOING TO BE SINGING #yesterday

She was the worst eye and ear sore of the evening.
How dare she mess up a tribute to the Beatles!
If she didn't want to do it right why why why????

Except for the Eurythmics I think it was the worst song of the night…They slowed the song down way too much and she just didn't let the true spirit of the song show with the way she sang it. This is one of my favorite songs ever and I'm a huge Beatles fan so maybe I'm bias. But the rest of the show was great I enjoyed it!

She made it her own. They looked like they liked it to me. The Beatles would be accepting and appreciative of any artist's offering of one of their songs, because that generation is not snide, snarky or bitching; but is embracing, feeling and gracious.
