Gabby Giffords & Her Husband Wrote A Book On Gun Violence & Gun Culture! Get Deets HERE!

gabrielle giffords writes book enough our fight to keep america safe from gun violence mark kelly husband gun reform

This woman cannot be denied!

Former Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords is writing a book! She and her out-of-this-world husband — astronaut Mark Kelly — are penning a paperback about gun control!

It's called Enough: Our Fight to Keep America Safe from Gun Violence. It's based upon a New York Times essay she authored in the wake of the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary in 2012.

In a statement, her husband offered:

“’Enough’ was one of the first words Gabby said to me after we learned about the Newtown, Connecticut, massacre. As second amendment supporters and gun owners ourselves, we hope our book rouses the long-overdue conversation our country needs to make responsible changes to our gun laws so that no more precious lives are lost.”

Wow! Responsible changes to gun laws sounds like a worthwhile topic of discussion to us!!

And we can hardly think of anyone more qualified to discuss their destructive power than Gabby, who was shot in the head during an assassination attempt back in early 2011.

Enough will hit shelves in June!

  1. 1

What's funny is most of the proposed solutions would actually do little to nothing to reduce gun violence. This is what happens when you have people spewing nonsense about things they know little to nothing about.

We have 8500 gun homicides a year. Out of 90+ million gun owners. That means 0.0009% of gun owners use their guns to commit a crime per year. That's less than 1%. Those numbers right there prove gun violence isn't out of control. When you have 314 million people, one of them every now and then is going to go ape #$%$ and attempt to kill a lot of people. It wouldn't matter if he had a gun or not. With enough crazy and time people can come up with pretty good ways to kill.

People fail to realize we have 20,000 gun laws on the books. Most anti-gunners are quite ignorant and think AR-15s are fully automatic and you can go into a store and buy one without background checks. A lot of people wrongly believe that a large number of guns are bought without a BGC. This is false.

Gun violence has always been socioeconomic factors. It's been proven true for every country in the world that poverty = poor education. Being Poor + Being broke = High crime. 75% of our gun violence is committed in inner cities and ghettos.

Banning a gun because it looks scary even though it has the same function as any other semi-auto weapon or reducing magazine sizes does little to nothing..
