Rain, rain, go away…Make sure to leave by Oscar Sunday!
California is currently experiencing a wicked drought - so today's downpours with intense winds are MUCH needed.
But you'd think most Angelenos have never seen rain before by the way they're sharing their wet thoughts on Twitter!
Celebrities have been especially active on the social media site, doing their best citizen meteorologist impersonations - giving followers the low-down on what's actually falling down from the sky!
While we all have windows and televisions, we appreciated the extra effort with the tweets. Even Al Roker would be proud!
Finally we have rain!!!! http://t.co/mBCwgstXcl

Freakishly torrential rain in LA now, and going to go on all weekend. Great for the drought, not great for the Oscars…. #DrenchedCarpet
