The Oscars always pays tribute to those talented and creative artists we lost throughout the year.
And every year some people unfortunately have to be left out of the In Memoriam.
This year, while we all honored Philip Seymour Hoffman, Paul Walker, and many more who were featured during the touching moment, some of our most beloved stars were left off the list.
Sadly, Cory Monteith, Marcia Wallace, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air's James Avery, Tom Clancy, Lisa Robin Kelly, Lee Thompson Young, Phil Everly, Phil Ramone, Lou Reed, Pete Seeger, Dennis Farina, Gary David Goldberg, Alicia Rhett, Alain Resnais, Jim Jacks, and Clive Burr were left out of the tribute.
And most oddly of all, Ruth Robinson Duccini from Wizard of Oz (which had a film tribute earlier in the night) and Alice Herz-Sommer, who was the subject of the Best Documentary Short-winning film The Lady in Number 6 and passed away this last week, were both not featured in the tribute.
It's unfortunate that anyone has to be left out, but everyone was included in the online In Memoriam.
