Are Jimmy Fallon & NBC Blackmailing Potential Tonight Show Guests? Get The Dirty Deets HERE!

jimmy fallon tonight show blackmailing guests no competitors nbc

Ruh-roh! The Tonight Show train has barely left the station, but it already might be coming off the tracks!

Jimmy Fallon's relaunch of the iconic late night show has been super successful thus far - maybe too successful! The ratings have been so good, in fact, that the suits at NBC feel comfortable going for the jugular!

According to sources, Jimmy and the show-runners are basically blackmailing would-be guests! They're saying that if celebz ever want to come on the wildly popular show they won't be allowed to do similar interviews with the competition!

And we're not just talking the likes of Jimmy Kimmel and Conan O'Brien - the ban extends to morning shows and primetime news programs, too! Tonight Show guests are apparently allowed to appear on Dateline and Today, but that's it!!

Wow, we've seen hosts play hardball before, but this is INSANE!

We wonder if this will backfire? Would an A-list actor really get more mileage out of one appearance with Fallon than they would from visiting those other shows?

Only time will tell!

That's a dumb move. His ratings are high because he has good guests. If they get mad and decide to do other shows, he's going to tank.

I hate NBC! Too cocky for their own good. Jimmy is too nice to be with the likes of Matt Lauer and the other NBC jerky bosses! The notion is absurd! Who does NBC think they are? Exclusive! What a crock! Tell that to Ann Curry!

    Prepare for unexpected backlash.
Didn't see Fallon as controlling. Oh, it's his 'people.'

There is no reason he needs to do this. He already has double the viewers as his competitors.

Sounds like bull rap to me. Especially considering he had Lea michele on last week and she basically appeared on every news outlet all week promoting her new album. Can't believe everything you read. Sad cause jimmy Fallon is awesome. Why do they want to mess with him.

    One more reason to watch
Kümmel. NBC should know better. This comes across as an act of desperation and will backfire.

Fallon is not nor never has been funny or good as a host. I guarantee he'll tank before year two, with or without restrictions on guests.
