Beyoncé Sparks A Heated Debate On FOX News! Watch Bill O’Reilly & Russell Simmons Square Off!

| Filed under: TV NewsMusic MinuteBeyonceBill O'ReillyNews

If you're not watching FOX News, you're apparently missing out on some heated conversations about Beyoncé!

Say whaaa???

The Queen Bey sparked a dispute between Bill O’Reilly and Russell Simmons last night over the artistic value of her song Partition!

The R&B mogul (who was on the show to discuss his new book on meditation) had to defend B because The Factor host has a major problemo with her putting out a single so seXXXy!

Watch yourself, Bill! We don’t take too kindly to people badmouthing our gurl!

Bill actually argued that Beyoncé was being irresponsible by glamorizing sex when so many young women idolize her!

He exclaimed:

“Why on earth would this woman do that? Why would she do it when she knows the devastation that unwanted pregnancies and fractured families [cause]. Why would she do that?!”

Russell was having none of this nonsense though!

He fired back explaining that music is a reflection of our reality. Beyoncé is an artist who puts out music - not raises YOUR children for you!

Billy, we think you need to be a bit more selective with the battles you wage. Isn’t this argument a tired one?

Sex will always be in music, in movies, on TV. You work in media. You should know that!

Let Beyoncé do what she does best which is be an AH-Mazingly talented artist! And you focus on staying fair and balanced (hehe) 5 nights a week on cable.

Now if you’ll excuse us, we have to go blast Partition, pleaseeeee!

Ch-ch-check out the clip from the interview (above)!

this doesn't make sense she is a married women …not a young pop singer whose single…..she has put in a good amount of years were she could sing whatever she wants.

    Three things Bill O'Reilly:

    1. Beyone does not have an obligation to anyone. She creates what she wants, and as a consumer, you make the choice to buy it or not to buy it.
    2. Why are you not discussing males and their glorification of sex, which happens much more frequently than women singers doing so.
    3. Beyonce is a married woman and is singing from her experience as a married woman. She is not glorifying sex in the way you think she is; she's glorifying and celebrating being intimate with your loved one, which I think most of society would agree is acceptable.

What a hypocrite. Some of the sex scenes in O'Reilly'books are enough to embarrass Hugh Hefner. They are revolting.

She is a married woman singing about having sex with her husband and there is absolutly nothing wrong with it! He needs to get over himself. Beyoncé is an inspiration to all women. Instead of being ignorant att teaching girls that sex is something disgusting and something they should be ashamed of we should teach them that it's a natural thing, how to protect themselves and that it isn't just something men can enjoy.

I think it's just weird she's talking about sex so much now, have you heard the song about her talking about receive oral sex from her hubby? Geez girl. Tone it down.

Re: Nina – How scary is your world id Beyonce is your inspiration…homegurl doesn't even know how to talk.

He is right whether we like beyonce or not. Her perfprmances affected my nieces as they imitate her erotic dance moves . How can you defend that behavior in your article? learn to be objective if you want to be a real journalist one day!

her and her thug husband pull in almost 100 million a year, and only donate 6 grand. Imaging how much they could do for their fellow man(and woman) if they weren't so selfish. But that's the 'me' generation for you, worship the most self absorbed, entitled phonies out there

Re: ashley – Thank You! People just need to appreciate what muaic we have, and realize that Beyonce does not raise your children. Shes been in the game for 15 years and she can do whatever she wants. If people dont like it then listen to someone else and moniter what your children listen to. End of story

Bill O'Reilly, like many of the people on fox, is a miserable OLD HAG! Stop speaking on current artists and hip hop in general because you show your ignorance with that. sorry
Queen Bey is amazing and can do whatever the fuck she wants to do. she's a grown ass woman and a beautiful person inside and out. not to mention the way her and jay z went about their relationship is also admirable. you can't let 1 thing YOU personally disagree with generalized the legacy she has built for herself. you done fucked up now bill.

Bill was right on this. That song and video are hard R rated, not suitable for children. Shame on Beyonce.

Well. Why are so many young girls idolizing beyonce. I am 24 and a BSC hons student growing up my idols were the people closet to me i.e my mother and my auntie not Beyonce. I like her music but wont go mental if I saw her. According to her growing up her mother and grandmother were her idols. I am sorry but parents are to blame too because young girls should be getting inspirations from their families where as now a days parents are not involved in their kids lives and best way to blame someone for teenage pregnancy is singers or actors . Beyonce does not tell these girls to worship her. There parents can change that with better family understanding.

Re: Harry sespedes – Since when is everything on tv supposed to be suitable for children? Last I checked parents are supposed to monitor what their kids are watching not the other way around.
