This news is as painful to us as a jammed Q-tip in our eardrum.
In a recent interview, Lena Dunham made us sad for the future state of TV, as she admitted she's unsure if she wanted to keep pursuing acting:
"I don't know if I'm going to want to act anymore. I'm always relieved on the days I don't have to. I'd rather give parts to other women than be the woman having the parts."
We don't know if there is somehow an understudy for Girls' Hannah Horvath, and we don't want to! We can't imagine life without Hannah!
Well, we certainly WON'T be relieved to not to see you on HBO if you do decide to part ways with the proverbial treading of the boards for good.
Not to freak you out, but not only are you the voice of a generation, Lena, you're an actor of a generation as well.
Please please please reconsider!
