He’s the President of the United States! Of course you’re going to get nervous meeting him!

Even if you’re Zach Galifianakis!

The Between Two Ferns host welcomed President Barack Obama onto his Funny or Die web series earlier this week and the result was one of the most legendary interviews we’ve ever seen!

But don’t let Zach’s cutting character routine fool you! He may have been going back and forth with the playful insults for the Prez but off-camera, he was sweating bullets!

President Obama called into Ryan Seacrest’s radio show today and spilled on just how nervous Zach got during their sit down!

He explained:

"Zach actually was pretty nervous. It was funny to watch because this whole Between Two Ferns schtick — which I wasn't familiar with, before my staff told me that we had been pitched to do this. His whole character is to go after the guest and I think he was looking around and seeing all these Secret Service guys with guns and thinking, 'I wonder what happens here if I cross the line?’ But we had a great time."

The now viral video was loved by most but panned by many. One fan of Obama’s appearance on Between Two Ferns however was his own daughter, Malia!

The 15-year-old had no idea her dad was doing the comedy show until that night at dinner!

Obama admitted:

"I wasn't familiar with this thing, but when I was at the dinner table with the girls and I said, 'Well today I did something with Zach, it's called Two Ferns I think?' Malia was so excited! She had seen all the previous episodes, so I figured it was going to reach our target audience, which is a lot of young people and it turns out we've had close to 15 million hits.”

See Malia! He’s not a regular dad. He’s a cool dad! As well as the leader of the free world.

LOLz!

Obama would make me puke as well, not because I would be so nervous but because the man makes me want to throw up. Its a natural reflex to something evil, rotten and disgusting.

It's just so not what the president of the United States should be doing
Yes I know Nixon , Clinton, Bush and Reagan went on TV comedy shows
But not at a time when the country was facing major crisis
Russia is invading another country, Kerry drew a red line for Monday, Putin is laughing at us
    China is laughing
The world is laughing, but not at Obama's comedic skills , but his total lack of
    of leadership

the US Navy invented the internet (not algore, lol) Obama is going to give up ownership of the internet to the United Nations and they plan to tax us all for the internet. Obama just can't get enough of giving America away. STOP OBAMA!

Re: @v@ – he's asked the news media not to report his poll ratings anymore. He's in the 30's and I'm thinking he's going to drop further once people figure out that he's giving away the American rights to govern the internet, the internet that the US Navy invented. People wake up, Obama doesn't even like America, he is a black trophy president but blacks should be figuring out pretty soon he doesn't even like them. He is a Marxist as in Karl Marx. wake up people.

Re: @v@ – actually the purpose was to sell private market healthcare insurance to uncovered millenials.

Re: blackviolet – Ahh. Targetting a specific age group. Thanks. You know, if it were more reasonable, it would fly off the shelves all by itself. People want to have coverage. Read a random article about a married woman with kids who brings home 351.00 a week, and that health care plan wanted 151.00 of it. So, she and her family get 200, they get 150. Ridiculous. How can they live? Eat? Pay rent? They can't. People at the top are too wealthy and too far removed to realize the overwhelming and crushing financial impact just to survive.

Re: @v@ – healthcare is a human right. this should not be so complicated.

Re: blackviolet – It's complicated. The U.S. has something like 244,000 people working in the (HMO) insurance industry (and lobby) during a financial downturn that the universal health care countries don't have to worry about laying off, so this costly thing is what the U.S. ended up with. If they went straight to single payer, which the country wasn't ready for when Hillary tried to sell it years ago, a lot of people would lose their jobs unless U.S. Gov hired a bunch of them to run it, which a lot of people wouldn't like to see either.

Re: @v@ – todays "conservatives" are resentful. what they dread most in their lives that "those" they consider *inferior to them* may get something *they* pay taxes for. cased closed

Re: @v@ – cons consider single payer the worst kind of tyranny. heck they consider obamacare/romneycare whatever you wanna call it tyranny and it was their idea in the first place! you are right though that single payer would not be an easy transition but I think we will get there eventually despite the resistance.
