Straight Girls Swap Spit To Look Cool In High School? Yup, That's MTV's New Show Faking It In A Nutshell!

Have you heard about Faking It?

It's a new MTV dramedy with a super controversial premise: two high school girls pretend to be lesbians so that other students will like them!

Wait, what?! So that's the key to being cool these days?

Look, we love that MTV imagined a high school student body so accepting that feigning to be a member of the LGBT community is the quickest way to become the most popular kid in class!

We sincerely wish school children were all so open-minded in real life!

Showrunner Carter Covington admitted he was originally appalled by the show's premise, but then he had an epiphany! One day, while volunteering at a call center for a crisis hotline, a distressed caller admitted that he/she was worried that her/his friends only liked him/her because she/he was gay!

So, it sounds like the show is actually tapping into a genuine part of the human condition?

Ch-ch-check out the trailer (above) and sound off (below)!

Women, girls, are pressured more and more into lesbian experiences to become popular. Eventually, if drugs or alcohol are involved, especially, morals become degraded. What media is promoting to us, is a perpetuation of over sexual ad lifestyles with nobody providing a family unit because we are all too sexually charged and refusing to be responsible caretakers of the next generation. Sexual assaults are at an all time high. They are because people cannot handle the over saturation and become berserk.

I read that Carter Covington thought of the show idea while he was working at a Teen Hotline? So he is appalled at his own idea? Doesn't make sense?

Very pathetic. Just like johnny depp new girl playing gay to be exotic, it's like a slap in face to real gays trying to be taken seriously. Js

More crap being spoon fed to our under age kids. What a stupid and unrealistic scenario.
Teaching kids that they have to be something besides themselves to be 'liked' is a crock of.
