We're so sad to reveal that American Idol's first openly gay contestant MK Nobilette was voted out of the show's top 10 last night!
Even worse, Jenny, who's been a huge fan of MK ever since the beginning, looked to be in complete tears (above) as the talented songstress performed John Legend‘s All Of Me—in hopes of being ultimately saved!
We know the I Luh Ya Papi singer tried to do some major convincing with Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr., but it simply wasn't enough for the judges to use their save.
MK has a hugely supportive fanbase, so we're sure news of last night's exit hit them hard—but we're so happy this adorable almost Idol helped change the face of the show forever!
Here's to more open and honest contestants from now on!
