Put the armpit hair growing on hold for now…

Because you're about to get real busy behind the camera, girlfriend!

Madonna is set to direct an adaptation of the Rebecca Walker's novel Adé: A Love Story—which is sooo exciting!

The book is loosely based on the author's life and revolves around a college student who falls in love with a Swahili man she plans to marry, but civil war threatens to tear them apart.

The dramatic love story is being produced by Bruce Cohen—the man in charge of American Beauty, Milk and Silver Linings Playbook, so we know this is going to be good!

We love everything Madge touches, so we're sure her vision is going to be utter perfection!

Sign us up for the premiere, STAT!

  1. 1

I guess 1 flop wasn't enough for her.

One had hoped that after the disaster that was W.E. (blink & you missed it in theaters), Mad Donna would never be allowed near the director's chair again. Currently holding a 13% rating at review aggregating website Rotten Tomatoes, that vanity project has been certified rotten and rancid.
