Zac Efron Is Back On Booze & Drugs??! If So, An Old Friend Who's Been There, Done That Wants To Help!

Everyone is worried about Zac Efron!

Has his sobriety been compromised?!

No one knows for sure, but if Zac is indeed in a downward spiral after his two secret rehab stints last summer then his old Hairspray producer Adam Shankman wants to be his sober coach.

Adam knows how difficult sobriety is since he was also in rehab back in December and is now 90 days sober.

An insider spilled:

“Adam sees that Zac isn’t on a great path and has even gotten a little sloppy lately. And since they’ve been friends for years, Adam has reached out to Zac and is trying to get him into the same program he completed at Passages in Malibu. He’s even offered to be Zac’s sober coach! Adam really believes in Passages and just wants to see Zac get back into good health. Zac has so much to offer and Adam would hate to see him throw away his career.”

Whether or not his Skid Row scuffle was a result of relapsing on booze and drugs remains a mystery, but it must be a comfort to know that Adam cares enough to volunteer his wisdom and support.

Let's just cross our fingers Zac doesn't need the help!

Hmmm why does it seem like every time Adam Shankman gets involved someone dies of an overdose….

It's not just his career that's at stake it's his life! I hope he gets the help he needs, he seems like such a nice person . . .

That's nice and all of Mr Shankman HOWEVER he needs to focus on HIS OWN sobriety. AA does not want people having a relationship for 1 year after starting AA, do you really think someone with 90 DAYS under their belt is qualified or even ready to help another person with sobriety? Wasn't he the one "helping" Cory Monteith? 90 days is a drop in the bucket. it is like giving someone who needs a million dollars a dollar in pennies. 90 months - different story. 90 days - go home and focus on YOURSELF!
