James Franco Hits On ANOTHER High School Girl! Only This One Is Emma Roberts! Watch The Palo Alto Trailer HERE!

| Filed under: Film FlickersJames FrancoEmma RobertsTeens

Oh no! Is James Franco flirting with disaster in the form of another underage girl?

OK, this is just a movie and the girl in question is being played by 23-year-old Emma Roberts. But it is a movie based on a book James wrote… The whole thing seems kind of sketchy in light of recent events!

The flick actually looks like a nice coming-of-age kind of story, but the timing couldn't have been worse! Is it just a terrible coincidence? Or is there some sublegal subtext we should be picking up on?

Ch-ch-check out the video (above) to see the first trailer for James Franco's Palo Alto and decide for yourself!

all the stuff leading up to palo alto is an obvious publicity stunt. The movie is exactly about the "scandal" James is in. People are so fucking stupid if they don't see that.

Re: stacey – One hundred percent agree with you. If James is a 'method' actor (see Selena Gomez Interview on Spring Breakers), then he is trying to 'stay in role' while promoting his new movie. Moreover, self-presention - whether it is in everyday life by the average lay person or a celebrity - is about conveying an image to the audience. However, one cannot present a distorted version of themselves, as it will not be believable. Thus, people present themselves in a way that they can 'get away with.' Hence, being an educated person who clearly knows what he is doing, would it not make sense to prime your audience with a real-life 'cradle robber' incident prior to the films release? In this sense, he can readily influence the audience and make his role more believable - it won't be seen as 'acting' but 'being.'
