While we think A History of Magic might be a good title for this upcoming bibliography, we'll settle with J.K. Rowling: A Bibliography!

Bloomsbury Academic is set to publish the most valuable piece of…well, academia for any Harry Potter fan! They're coming out with a bibliography that will chronicle the publication of the magical series this December!

1 billion points to Gryffindor!

Here's the briefest of synopses to get your motor going as fast as the Hogwarts Express in anticipation:

“This is the definitive bibliography of the writings of J.K. Rowling. In addition to complete bibliographic details of all her books, pamphlets, original contributions to published works and broadcasts, there is detailed information on Rowling at auction, on significant reviews and on scholarly work on Rowling. This will be the first source on Rowling consulted by textual scholars, book collectors, auction houses, critics and researchers. The aim of the book is to record fact and dispel rumour (sic) on the fascinating publishing history of the Harry Potter series.”

Unlike a class with the ghoulishly boring Professor Binns, this history lesson is going to be so inneresting! We can't wait for December to roll around.

God damn morons, you mean a biography. A bibliography is a list of references.
