Well, at least they're big enough to admit what they did!
The song sounded TOO good for playing live!
Well, it looks like the band has come clean as to why! Turns out their lead singer, Gary LeVox, was lip syncing!
Um.. who called that one? Oh yeah — we totally called it!
The band took to their Twitter to tell the truth about their performance!
"After having performed several shows earlier in the week, Gary lost his voice. So, instead of canceling our commitment to do the show, we made a last minute decision to lip-sync. We've never done it before, and we're obviously not very good at it. We look forward to singing live again in the very heard future!"
Oh man! Well, at least they didn't let fans down who expected a performance at the awards show!
Plus, if he'd lost his voice, there was no way to do it live, so lip syncing was his only option!
