Scarlett Johansson Calls Her Adorable ScarJo Nickname "Insulting!" What The WHAT??

scarlet johansson full name

When she's not kicking maJOR butt on film or sinfully posing for magazines, Scarlett Johansson is pissed…

Pissed that for all these years people insisted on calling her "ScarJo" as opposed to her full name!

Well…we had no idea Miss Thang felt so strongly about it - and the following quote should put the abridged nombre to rest, for good!!

In the new issue of Glamour, the Captain America: The Winter Soldier star revealed her absolute disdain for the coined nickname:

"I associate that name with, like, pop stars. It sounds tacky. It's lazy and flippant… There's something insulting about it."

Okay, okay!

We get it now.

The 29-year-old beauty HATES the branded moniker, but we think she should lighten up a bit!

"ScarJo" isn't exactly insulting - it's super adorable!

I don't blame her, it's an ugly nick name. ScarJo????

It's not "super adorable." It would insult me to, and if she doesn't want to be called by a nickname, people should show some respect and not use the nickname if the person doesn't care for it. It's very grade school. You're always making up childish names for couples, etc. too. Pretty stupid and immature. Grow up.

Re: beach – What has she done to earn any respect? She isn't owed anything

A nickname is a term of endearment.. Well, in this case it is. Instead of whining about it, she should embrace it. Sheesh! (Maybe she needs help un-bunching her panties?)
