Oooooohh! How intriguing! At least he's being upfront about it!
Ed Sheeran has a new song on his upcoming album titled Don't and he's letting you know RIGHT NOW that it is most definitely NOT about Taylor Swift.
In fact he's even said that him & Swifty have never ever EVER dated!
"It's 100 percent not about Taylor. Taylor's one of these people that if you piss her off and she writes a song about you, it's not good news for you. I've never dated Taylor. I've dated a few singers, though."
Hmmm… but why would he say this when we haven't even heard the song yet?
Because some of the lyrics are:
"Me and her, we make money the same way/Four cities, two planes the same day/ I never saw him as a threat, ’til you disappeared with him to have sex."
Totally understandable now that we see those lyrics, but WHO could it be about!?!
Well, apparently, it's inspired by Miz Ellie Goulding, who Ed had a brief fling with back in 2013!
Not only is it written about her, but APPARENTLY it was inspired by the fact that the inspiration slept with one of Ed's friend while he was in the same hotel, causing the fling to be ended swiftly.
Which would be why things clearly did NOT end well there!
Looks like Ed is slowly turning into the male version of T.Swift, writing songs about his old conquests!
We wonder what other juicy trysts will be documented on his album!
We can't WAIT to hear it!
