They Don't Call It Snail Mail For Nothing! Brooklyn Woman Receives Three Surprising Letters — 45 Years After They Were Sent!
WHOA! No wonder everyone uses email! Imagine having to wait this long!
Susan Heifetz, a Brooklyn woman, got the surprise of a lifetime when the post office called her about a letter addressed to her that they had…
Except it was postmarked from 1969… AKA 45 years ago!!
AND not only that, but the envelope still had Susan's mothers "signature" lipstick mark on the back!
Shortly after getting the card, a birthday greeting for when she turned 19, she received ANOTHER letter from 1969 that was a bday card from her BROTHER!
However, that's not the end of it! Susan received a THIRD letter from her then deployed boyfriend who sent her a letter updating her on the fighting in Viet Cong in Saigon.
Say WHAAAAT!! What were those post office employees doing after all these years?!?
The USPS claimed that they didn't know what had happened to those letters for 45 years, but were glad Susan could finally get her mail!
YIKES! We think that we'll stick with e-mailing for now.
At least with that you KNOW when your mail isn't delivered!
