Some studies show that smoking too much pot can slow or even stop mental and emotional development. Looks like Seth might have smoked a little too much - he sounds like a 14 year old. Nancy Grace may be dead wrong on this one, but Seth is not helping.

Re: rosebud99 – Nice quote from the FOX news story they released earlier this week, we all know how FOX is the place to go if you want the truth. That whole article is filled with 'might', 'maybe', and 'possibly'. Seth sent that message out after Nancy filled her feed with propagandic bs. That last one was just absolutely ridiculous 'How many people must die before this stops?'. Nancy Grace is a friggen moron if she believes that crap. He straight up told the truth.

It's crazy that so many people believe marijuana is harmless. It's like taboo to speak against its use. I tried marijuana when I was like 18 and it was a horrible experience. I was one of the paranoid ones. Some get mellow, some get paranoid, and some apparently go beserk from eating it in a brownie and kill their wife.

There is even a term psychiatrists/psychologists use to describe a person's affect who they can tell is a regular marijuana smoker. I wish I could remember what the terms was.

I like Nancy Grace…BUT….she needs to smoke a big fatty & relax! Maybe she'll relax enough for that giant rigid stick up her frigid ass to fall out! Ferfxsake!!

Marijuana does help many medical conditions which is wonderful and it should be made legal for that purpose. But…..it has been scientifically proven that it does damage brain cells and is worse on your lungs than tobacco. These are just the facts. The bottom line is it can be good, and it can be bad, so why is everyone arguing about it! Oh, and by the way "oooo," I watch FOX News and I have a rather high IQ. You need to stop painting everyone with the same brush! Good Grief!

Nancy, pot only makes you duck and cover.
Seriously though, if this guy did this on pot, I'd hate to see what he would have done
if normal. Perhaps said pot was laced with not pot.

Yeaaaah, I didn't necessarily see her bashing pot smokers….and she coulda been insinuating he was on something else. I think Seth kinda jumped the gun on that one.

  9. 9

His response seems rather immature. Everyone has their own opinions, I smoked pot a few times in college. Am tolld it is a LOT stronger now.

This is nothing, Seth seeks to protect its crutch. Yes!.. you know, the only thing that keeps him from being constantly conscious of its sad reality of second role choice in major movies.. Yeah.. Right after his great friend, Franco! Smoke buddy! It'll calm your anxieties…

Re: GnosticLady – The studies you are talking about Was done on monkeys. that were forced to inhale mass amount of smoke. They put a gas mask type device on them. What happens when we suffer from lack of oxygen? Brain damage

Re: GnosticLady – show me these statistics that say cannabis is worse than your lungs for your lungs than tobacco… there are many many scientific studies that say quite the opposite. All you have to do is look at the amount of deaths from tobacco per YEAR and the amount of deaths from cannabis use alone in the HISTORY of cannabis use, which by the way is 0

Re: GnosticLady – Worse on your lungs than tobacco? Maybe you should use your "rather high IQ" to do some research before you state something as "just the facts". The guy obviously had a loose nut in his head. Marijuana ingestation isn't going to make someone want to kill their wife.

  17. it could be laced says – reply to this

First we are losing the victims in this whole thing. But yes, pot can be laced with PCP and cause this. It also, if used long term and in large quantities trigger mental health issues like anxiety, depression, bipolar, and worse. It affects developing brains in teens and twenty-somethings. It can be laced with acid, PCP or other drugs that cause major violent reactions and brain damage. Like any other drug and like alcohol if abused it can trigger violence. Let's be real, it's
NOT totally benign and messes with brains still growing. Whether we legalize it or not it's stupid to suppress scientific information on it. And yeah alcohol can mess you up, but pretending pot can't and doesn't negatively affect some is ignorant and dangerous.

  18. pot heads are getting says – reply to this

    18

No pot doesn't negatively affect everyone. But know your facts, it is worse on the lungs than cigarettes, can cause damage or psychotic breaks in developing brains up to 25 years old, can be wonderful for people dealing with cancer and other diseases. It isn't a benign drug, hell vitamins can cause interactions and damage. But stop trying to just ignore the truth. And pot laced with something can destroy a persons brain or cause them to snap.

  19. buds says – reply to this

    19

It has it's good and bad. The buds and seeds can be toxic, it does effect a growing brain, not everyone reacts the same. It has different brands that have differing side effects and strength and it is sometimes laced with acid, PCP, ecstasy, etc. Don't throw out the science because you never had a bad reaction to it. It's a drug after all, most drugs are plant based.. doesn't mean it's always safe for everyone.

    Re: it could be laced

No drug dealer is going to put a more expensive product on what is likely cheapest drug on the market for any purpose. Consider a gram of PCP sells for about double what a gram of pot goes for.

Man, there are a lot of really misinformed people. Or maybe common sense just isn't as common as the name suggests.
