We love looking at Ryan Gosling in front of the camera, shirtless or otherwise! Although, something tells we're going to like him behind the camera just as much!

Ryan is making his directorial debut for the film Lost River, and wow these stills look AH-Mazing slash spooky slash where's Ryan's hot bod?! We kid, we kid.

In a recent interview, one of the actors involved with Lost River (which was formerly titled How To Catch A Monster) dished on what it's like working beneath (ew, not that way) Ry guy:

"Ryan works in a very free way, he's constantly in an artistic frame of mind…[A]ll I can really say is that it centers around a family. There's my character, Bones, his mother and his younger brother. There's also a girl next door played by Saoirse Ronan, called Rat. It's about this family living in a town called Lost River, which is perhaps a place that was once full of family and happiness and love, and is now this town that's slowly descending into a place without any hope. This family is holding onto the foundations of their house and everything they think they need to hold onto."

This sounds really ambitious for Ryan's first project, but we think he's more than up to the challenge!

We're so excited for this film to come all over our faces…specifically our eyes! Okay, not that way but still!
