Well look at this collection of fine looking gentlemen!!
Matt Bomer, Mark Ruffalo, Taylor Kitsch, Ryan Murphy, and Jim Parsons are devilishly handsome and featured in this month's Vogue for their soon-to-be released HBO drama A Normal Heart.
We know the story is based on real events that occurred in the '80s during the HIV/AIDS epidemic—and it looks like some extremely heavy shiz…
Lucky for us, though, Ryan explained the film is a much gentler adaptation, as opposed to the play's harshness. He also admitted to owing a lot to the real life heroes who inspired the flick:
"I grew up loving the play and I remember thinking, Why has this movie not been made? It's no longer as angry. It's not agitprop. It's stories about different kinds of love. Larry [Kramer] and the other organizers were true heroes. I have a wonderful life. I'm married, I have a kid, I have freedoms that as a child I never thought I would have. And I don't think I would have those freedoms without those guys. So I was interested in paying them tribute. Thank you for my life."
So touching! So many feelings!!
We cannot wait to see these actors and Mr. Murphy's vision come to life on May 25th.
It's sure to be tear-jerkingly heartfelt—so bring the tissues!
