We weren't even there and we were cheering, too!
And it sure seems like no one was complaining of the choice of Ben for Batman then!
Check it all out in the video (above) !!!
Happy 10 year anniversary of Mean Girls!
Being the timeless classic that it is, this movie is STILL quoted to this day! (Are you wearing pink? Because on Wednesdays we wear pink! HA!)
Which makes for some pretty interesting stories!
Even Mark Waters, who directed the film, and Rosealind Wiseman, who wrote Queen Bees & Wannabes aka the inspiration behind the movie, have experiences from fans on a day-to-day basis!
Who has the best one, though?Honestly, probably Rachel, but Mark DEFINITELY gives her a run for her money!
Lizzy Caplan: I’ve had quite a few crew members on later gigs bring in DVDs for me to sign for their daughters, who must have been, like, toddlers when we shot the film.
Tina Fey: I think we mostly have TBS to thank. It’s always on TBS. It has this little net that catches girls as they pass through preteen and high school age. Girls will come up to me and say it helped them get through a terrible year.
Lacey Chabert: Probably about a hundred times a day, people will write the “fetch” line to me on Twitter.
Rachel McAdams: I recently stayed at a bed-and-breakfast in Europe, and the owner’s young granddaughter asked me to write down a few lines from the movie at breakfast. I was like a deer in headlights. I couldn’t remember any. And she proceeded to give me 12 direct quotes.
Rosalind Wiseman: I work with kids. There’s always a 17-year-old lacrosse player who changes his hair into a mullet for the championship game — that kind of kid — and it’s his favorite movie.
Mark Waters: My older daughter knew about “Mean Girls” before she knew I directed it. We let our daughters watch it — the younger one conned my wife and I into letting her watch because her sister was. My 11-year-old’s first comment was, “Who’s Danny DeVito?” My 7-year-old’s was, “What’s a wide-set vagina?” That’s when I knew we made a mistake.
We can ONLY imagine the conversation Mark had with his daughter after that!
We love it!! Mean Girls 4EVER!
