Ben Affleck’s Card Counting Was Well-Known In Las Vegas! They Sent Out A Warning!

Warning, Sin City! Ben Affleck is in town!

We recently told you how the 41-year-old actor was booted from the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas for card counting, and apparently his reputation preceded him.

There was an incident in 2001, when Ben won nearly $800,000 and apparently that has stuck with him ever since. In fact, on April 22nd, Games Protection Manager at the Wynn and Encore casinos, Rob Olivetti, sent an internal email that read:

“Ben Affleck (the actor) … Was informed that he was being way too obvious moving his money with the count. He was spreading $100 -10K on the double decks and $0-20K (2@10K) on the shoe games. As of now, he is still being allowed to play per casino management.”

A local security firm explained that Ben uses the common card counting method ‘perfect basic’ and added that he “also takes insurance according to the count. Uses black $100 cheques to keep track of the count while playing.”

Hmm… maybe it’s time to just stick to movies before he’s not welcome back in Las Vegas at all!

I'm old.. I couldn't name a Ben Afleck movie.. that said, Vegas is a Sht hole.. who needs it?

Go to the mountains, enjoy clean air.. heck, go to Colorado, smoke some legal grass for all I care.. All that is MUCH better than Vegas any day.

Re: shaygirl – counting is not cheating. Not even by NGCB rules or Nevada statute

Re: shaygirl – You have got to be freaking kidding me! That's like sending a jury out on the street and telling them to ignore everything they see. What should he do? 'oh, hell no, I did not see that ace. well, I might have seen it, but I just won't consider it. Did he break out an adding machine or bring his finance banker? I get tired of hearing how much they make, just as much or more than everyone else. How many times have they kicked out someone for losing too much? All that money and Steve Wynn still kicked out someone for being too good.

God forbid, you actually look at the cards that are being played. At the Hard Rock in Tulsa a week ago. Never played 3 card poker before. Out of sheer luck, one the first 14 hands. after 10 they started watching me. Finally the guy comes over and says, can't serve you any more alcohol, because you are drunk, but please feel free to keep playing. WTF? I'm too drunk for another glass, but feel free to lose an ass load because you are drunk….

Well this was supposed to be a romantic weekend with his wife before he leaves to film, sounds non romantic to me. Sounds like this is the same man who went to rehab for gambling and drinking is still gambling and drinking. That sounds like the bigger issue here, and you know Ben knows he isn't supposed to be doing it. He just wants to get away with it. If I were Jen I would feel like all the effort she has used to make this union appear perfect isn't quite that.
