So, in case you haven't been following #creditcardgate, here's some back story…
Seth Meyers and Amy Poehler went to dinner and switched credit cards by accident, but they didn't realized for a week or so and basically, since then, Amy has been messing with Seth and charging on his card.
She's been taunting him with pictures of both HER card and his card and she even got Tina Fey to join in on the fun.
However, their cat and mouse game came to a close last night at the LOL with LLS benefit when Seth FINALLY got his card back.
But not without Amy having one last go at him!
So, what'd she do?
The Parks & Rec funnywoman donated a good chunk of change, in her name on HIS card before handing it back to him!
The exchange went like this:
Amy: Very quickly, before I get offstage, a few weeks ago, Seth Meyers and I went to go to dinner and by mistake we traded credit cards and he talked about it on his show. And I had his credit card for a while and I had some fun with it. I took my family to San Francisco for the weekend. Tonight, I’d like to continue that generosity and donate $5,000, in my name, on Seth’s credit card.Seth, are you okay with that? I’m sure you’re cool with that, right?
Seth: Well, I feel like you’ve constructed a situation where it would be impossible to say no, that I wasn’t cool with that.
Amy: Well, if you don’t want to give your money on the credit card, then just tell all of these people.
Seth: No, I think it’s fine. I think it’s good that we’re doing this.
Amy: Great. Thank you, Seth, in my name, for donating the money.
Seth: $5,000 in your name on my credit card. I’m happy to do it. But please, can I have my credit card back?
LOLOLOL! Poor Seth! She finally gave him his card back, but not without causing one last act of havoc!
But, we gotta be honest, we love it! Such a HIGHlarious prank!
Creating funny chaos AND doing good in the process?
AH-Mazing! You go, Amy!
