No More Housewives???? Is Bravo Getting Ready To Phase Out Its Real Franchise???

| Filed under: TV NewsReal Housewives

bravo adding scripted shows reality tv out

Uh ohs!

Are we about to lose our Real Housewives?!

Well, we're pretty sure that the fab and fierce ladies of reality TV aren't going anywhere yet, but they might have some minor changes to worry about.

It seems that Bravo isn't just working on one scripted show, but the network actually has SIX scripted projects in the works!

While the network is certainly known for reality TV, they are obviously making big changes.

We've previously mentioned Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce, but the other projects include Rules of Attraction, Shanghai, Sweet Life, All the Pretty Faces, and Odd Mom Out.

We know Bravo has also added a LOT of reality TV to their slate, as well as renewing many of their reality shows, but we have to wonder what this experiment will turn in to.

If these shows succeed, can we expect more scripted TV and less wine-infused drama??

Will Bravo really risk dealing with table-flipping from Teresa Giudice if this happens?!

We just hope that Bravo's prepared for some weave-pulling if they DO dispose of any of their Housewives

…although we suspect that's still far off because those eye-rolling ladies are moneymakers!

I just wish they would cancel ALL of the "Real Housewives" shows. Every single one is stupid and the casts are ridiculous and hardly "real" housewives.

How is it that Andy Cohen sleeps at night. All these sad lives on the show are being destroyed for the sake of entertainment…divorces, bankrupcies, fights, illegal activities, suicide…whats next murder?
Im sure Andy Cohen sleeps very well with all the gay drama….

These women sign up to be on these shows knowing full well, especially at this point when they've been on the air for so long, what they are getting themselves into. Anyone that puts their personal life on display for the entire world to see and comment on is subjected to extremely high pressures and scrutiny and as a result of that many of their marriages and lives cannot handle the huge magnifying glass that makes their already bad lives, even worse. It's not Andy Cohen's fault, no one is holding a gun to these women's heads.

Pompous, conceited, immature, childish women. This series of shows should have been cancelled long ago.

Then Bravo needs to stop manufacturing the drama and violence since they can't handle the outcome.

These women choose to go on these shows and act like idiots. I think Bravo is slowly but surely getting the message that viewers do want to watch an hour of grown women arguing and fighting. When the fighting became the focal point of all he shows viewership started dropping off. I think they will fix it. If not they might as well cancel the shows.
