Eminem Teams Up With Nate Ruess & Spike Lee To Share Painful Family Memories & Photos In New Music Video For Headlights! Watch HERE!

| Filed under: Music MinuteEminemSpike Lee

This Mother’s Day, Eminem is releasing his music video for the song Headlights, all about his rough relationship with his own mom, Debbie Mathers!

Woah…

The track features Fun. frontman Nate Ruess, singing the painful chorus about E’s upbringing as pictures of his childhood flash through the video!

Spike Lee directed the vid, that ends with Em realizing that despite their tough times in his youth, he owes his mama A LOT!

He writes her a letter, thanking her for being his mom AND his dad!

Awww!

The song that starts as an angry rant against his one and only parent ends on the sweet side, as a tribute to his mother.

Way to be vulnerable, Em!

We LOVE the message!

If you break the cycle and estrangement for the next generation, you've done your job.
Prom Queen? I think so. You're the rock who's provided and believed through it all and rose above and fought the quicksand; and happy? is relative.

I would like to disagree that it ends on the "sweet side"…. it just ends on a making peace side…. it doesnt seem he is trying to be sweet…just not angry. At any rate, I dont doubt eminem was a shithead himself, its funny how in his songs everyone else is the villain and he accepts such a small amount of blame and plays the victim. Can't stand his ass.
