This could be one of the most important archaeological finds ever, over land or under the sea (excluding Ariel's thingamabobs).
Underwater explorer Barry Clifford discovered a shipwreck back in 2003, eerily close to reports of where Chris Columbus' flagship the Santa Maria ran aground off the coast of Haiti.
"This is the ship that changed the course of human history…It is the Mount Everest of shipwrecks for me."
A team of experts returned to the wreck a couple of weeks ago and measured and photographed the ship. The cannon had been looted in the interim since 2003!
Barry wants to work with the Haitian government to determine once and for all if this is really the ship that sailed the ocean blue.
