Inneresting concept…

The CW has cancelled a TON of shows and replaced them with one very, um, unique show — Jane The Virgin.

The new series centers around a virginal teen who accidentally gets artificially inseminated at the hospital.

I feel like this show is a prank. A giant prank.

Haha who comes up with that? Regardless whether or not that lasts, the first season sounds weird enough to catch people's attention. Out there. I don't watch cw, but I might watch an episode or two even just to find out how that happened. :( )

Are you kidding me with this shit…
Show Premise: Force a TEENAGER to develop an embryo that is in EVERY WAY a violation of her body and her rights and then play it off like "well, grandma thinks it'll be fine…"

A giant FUCK YOU to the CW for making shows that completely take away the autonomy a woman should have over her reproductive organs and turn it into a feel-good coming of age drama. Another show that contributes to the further stigmatization of abortion and those who seek them and guilt trips a woman -pardon TEEN, into potentially having a baby…under conditions that constitute medical negligence and malpractice.

    This is not okay.

My comment got deleted. But it looked interesting is all I had to say

Just read the actual screen scenario and for all the people that will point this out, she is actually 23 at the time of the artificial insemination…

No less infuriating…though slightly less absolutely disgusting perhaps.

This is a joke, right? I mean, yes, we live in the 21st century. Equal rights for all are on the rise, and that's fantastic. Sex is becoming more accepted by western civilization, science is making huge discoveries every week. But is the CW really considering putting this garbage on television. It's ONE fucking pen stroke away and placing "god" instead of a doctor doing the deed. This is total regression and incredibly poor taste in writing. So, we're being punk'd?

Yea im pissed they replaced the Tomorrow People and Star Crossed with this garbage. I'll be surprised if it survives a full season. It'll definitely be cancelled.
