Bryan Singer's Accuser Changes His Tune!! Michael Egan Once Swore Disney Exec David Neuman NEVER Touched Him!

michael egan testimony 2003 contradicts current sexual abuse claims rape bryan singer david neuman lawsuit

This is an unexpected wrinkle!

Last month Michael Egan stepped forward and accused several Hollywood big shots, including X-Men director Bryan Singer and former Disney TV President David Neuman, of sexually abusing him in the late '90s.

We've now learned, however, that Michael's current allegations seemingly contradict sworn testimony he gave in court over a decade ago!

See, in 2003, as part of a different lawsuit, Michael SWORE that the Disney exec had never acted inappropriately toward him.

In that statement, he admitted:

"David Neuman has never been present when I was involved in any type of sexual conduct, never harassed me, never made sexually suggestive remarks to me, and never acted improperly around me or toward me."

Wow, that's a far cry from what he's saying now!

For that reason, David's current lawyers are using this testimony to try and get the case against him dismissed!

In the 2003 lawsuit, Michael alleged that three men and three men only had abused him. None of those three men were Bryan Singer or David Neuman.

Since the beginning, for the record, Bryan singer has adamantly denied any inappropriate relationship with the accuser.

Do you think this new discovery of old evidence will tip the scales of justice in the X-Men director's favor?

It is common knowledge that victims of child abuse are trained by their abuser to deny. It is so easy to scare a child into denial. Add to that the embarrassment of speaking about it - is it any wonder that victims often deny their abuse? Earlier denials mean nothing.

Re: Erm76 – I know that. But that doesn't change the fact that child abuse can twist a child's mind and they will lie - felony or not.

Re: rosebud99 – Egan was 21 years old when he gave this sworn testimony. He was an adult who knew what he was doing.

Re: Erm76 – He wasn't scared. He sued three other people who he accused of molesting him back in 2000. He swore in a deposition back then that he was molested by Shackley in Las Vegas. He also sued Pierce and Collins-REctor back then.

IN fact, he was awareded a judgment of several million dollars because the defendant skipped town and never showed up in court. But he & the others who sued weren't able to collect any money.

Now 13 years later, Michael Egan is unemployed and broke and looking for a payout. If he couldn't collect it from the men he claimed molested him back then, he could go after other big Hollywood players. At least that's how it's beginning to seem

Re: Erm76 – He had no problem suing three men for molestation back in 2000. He had no problem remembering any of the details then. He was part of a sex abuse lawsuit that was filed against 3 men, Shackley, Pierce and Collins-Rector. He detailed specifically back then being molested by Shackley in Las Vegas.

That's why there's a record and a deposition. That's why he was asked if any other men molested him and he denied it then.

Now 13 years later, he's unemployed and looking for a payout.

Not everyone is a victim and some people lie in order to get money.

‘The Price of Silence: The Duke Lacrosse Scandal’ by William D. Cohan. Is about men being accused of rape who did not do it. The whole thing was a lie for money. Furthermore, the so called victim did not go to jail for perjury. People can lie and ruin reputations and get away with it. This has to STOP!

Maybe at 21 Egan thought suing or naming a high profile director and powerful execs might harm his chances of making it as an actor. Now at 34, having not made it, he's got nothing to lose.
