On Thursday night's Grey's Anatomy season finale, it was the end of an era for Sandra Oh and Christina Yang.
The actress has been with the medical drama since the very beginning, ten years to be exact!
While she may have left
Seattle Grace Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, Meredith, and our heavy hearts, it isn't the end of Christina Yang!
In an interview with the 42-year-old actress, Sandra revealed she's definitely down to come back for the eventual series finale!
We talked about that when I told her I was going to leave but we haven't talked about it again. There are certain things that Shonda [Rhimes] and I talk about once and then we leave it because we want things to happen without pressure.
I told her, "If you guys want to finish it out however you want to finish it out, I'd be more than happy to come back. And if it doesn't fit in that way, I totally understand. I just want you to know that I'm available." Who knows! I might be doing something fabulous and it might not work out but I did say, "Yes, of course I would."
This news just makes us so happy!
We all eventually accepted the fact that Christina was going off to Zuirch, leaving her "person" behind.
But from the looks of it, there's always that possibility of her coming back for some unknown reason and judging by Shonda's track record, it'll be a good one.
