Can we get over him? No one cared about him until he died, and when he did, everyone mourned like no one hated him for being a pedophile. You should've celebrated him when he was alive, instead of taking advantage of his death for when it suits the checks it will bring in. Enough. It's been five years. Let him go.

Re: Sam – Noooo, everybody loved him ALL THE TIME….only media hated him(americans medias).I am from Europe…here ppl didn't do copy/paste shit…everybody read transcripts from trial, reserched…and found that Mj was amazing man, amazing(yes, very weird…maybe crazy…but he was artist…not doctor, layer, president). Sooo,i'm happy that ppl again promote his music, becouse AMERICA owe him that, they destroyed his job and never apologaze for that…i was shocked when i found that that chick Diana Dimond STILL works in media?????In my country ,she would be in jail. We had seminar in my high school about demons in modern media(she was main subject ,my professor of sociology named her criminal, she paid ppl to fake story about MJ).

Do you know that Henry Gradstein, the lawyer of QJ, IS the same attorney who is representing Wade Robson in his money grab attempt!

It says Gradstein & Marzano lawfirm right there on that complaint. (Maryann Marzano (WR attorney's parter named in the lawsuit do***ent) has more cases like this.)

The fact he is using the same Attorneys as Wade Robson really disturbs me and question his motives. I truly hope he (Q) wasn't aware of that. Something seems very fishy (stinky) with that.

I don't believe Quincy deliberately hand picked the very same lawyer who represents WR. What I believe is that this guy approaches people in MJ's life and tries to find a way for them to sue MJ's Estate and make money…………………….

  13. Fans...ATTENTIONE !!!! says – reply to this

………… The strange thing is not that he represents Quincy.
Gradstein's speciality is royalties/business issues. The strange thing is rather that he represents Wade Robson because his specialities do not include child abuse allegations. Even at the beginning of WR's case many fans remarked that it's odd. Now I wonder if it started with first weighing Wade's possibilities to sue the Estate on some business term (for example in connection with the Cirque stuff, Opus, Wade's earlier contract with MJJ Productions etc.) I wonder if they found no real opportunity there and that's how it all turned into child abuse allegations. Because the choice of lawyer for that case is certainly very odd.

I don't believe this is a coincidence. Gradstein is certainly not the only lawyer in LA and I guess there are plenty who deal with royalties as well. Gradstein now demands access to the Estate's finances through Quincy's case. That's information he could use for WR's case as well and I don't think it would be fair.

They're messing around with the hologram technology, but while they're giving a deceased guy a number at a big awards show, an up and coming living artist isn't getting their natural chance. It doesn't creep me out, but just feel the dead should be allowed to rest without milking them some more.

  19. t says – reply to this

Tupac's hologram wasn't hologram it was his last performance. This is new Mj song,so it's clear that this isn't some old performance. That's why Tupac's "hologram" looks more real…IT WASN'T HOLOGRAM !

  20. 20

Cant help but to think how MJ would feel about this. If it were me, I wouldn't want people other than myself, representing me and my music after I passed away. MJ was so in control of his music, image, EVERYTHING about his career !

  21. Darslow says – reply to this

Ever heard of uncanny valley? I was a little creeped out by it, but, what can I say? I love this man so much that I made myself watch it, but there is nothing in this world that can bring back the charisma, soul, energy, and sheer magic that MJ injected into his performances when he was alive. Something about this was just morbid.

  22. Nibulle says – reply to this

He should have been invited while still alive, now it's too late and it's only people's fault. Now the great man he was is gone and you just can't bring him back, even with a hologram. It's ridiculous.

  23. 23

Enough people cared about MJ when he was alive. That is not the argue point here. The point is that he is no longer alive. And they should keep it that way. I respected him a lot, I don't care what people have said about him. He suffered too long to be brought back on stage just for a quick buck. Let the man rest in peace already. Like he deserved.

This goes for all the artists who are no longer with us that they are trying to get back with a hologram for a quick buck. The people in this world are too greedy.

  24. 24

As loved as he was NO ONE will readily get over him–all of you who say "get over it!" I bet you got Elvis posters on your wall right now!! Bottom line no one wants to really accept that their favorite entertainers will no longer sing nor dance ever again and it still is a hard pill to swallow "Sam." Whoever told you that no one cared about him when he was alive was either a fool or ill informed, since he still managed to sell out arenas. And no I NEVER bought into the crap about him being a pedophile considering it was thrown at him time and time again to the point of the man having to disrobe at some point to disprove a claim. Yeah–ridiculously weird, not grasping that he could never turn back the clock and reclaim his childhood, yeah, but never bought into the press and media's ridiculous bombardment and treatment of him when he was alive. Some of us don't believe everything we see or hear on tv or buy into everything we are spoonfed by the media, especially when it comes to witchhunts. I was both elated and slightly weirded out by the performance but I am glad they found a way for the public to continue to enjoy him.

However, ”Virtual Tupac” wasn’t a real hologram in the sense that most of us imagine them to be — free-floating three-dimensional images. Instead, the Tupac who wowed the Coachella throngs was a holographic projection onto a mylar screen, bounced off of a reflective surface on the floor using technology from Musion…but as 2D projections, not as actual 3D holograms.
This was really 3D hologram, that's why people think it was imitator.

  26. Cris says – reply to this

According to the impersonator they used, sony or whoever didn't have they hologram 'ready' so they apparently approached this impersonator and asked him and then they threw it together and tonight was the result……..

  27. amber says – reply to this

i want to punch someone.this is not our sweet MJ.that THANG/imitator doesn't have MJ energy.

to non fans he looked fine..but to hardcore fans we are like wtf estate…stop milking us.

  29. Ann says – reply to this

I can't believe that they would disrespect MJ and his fans by using an impersonator when they said that it would be a hologram. He don't even look like MJ. This has me pissed off

  30. azalea says – reply to this

i think they believe we will eat it up just because its MJ

  31. jess says – reply to this

it was a hologram of an impersonator who did the dance moves. The face is Michael's superimposed onto his face. It looks okay in some angles but the mouth movements aren't very good - his mouth looks too small in some sections.

  32. Lori says – reply to this

As Michael Jackson's biggest fan, It didn't look like M.J. I was very disappointed. And that wasn't the performance I was expecting. For me, this just goes to show that nothing or no one could ever take the place of the real Michael Jackson. Seeing this tonight just reminded me of how much he truly is missed. There will NEVER be another like the King of Pop!

  33. 33

    This was pretty fucking crass.

  34. MJFAM says – reply to this

Re: AlRe: Al – what do You mean that: what the big deal? Seriously you ask it, well in first is/was one of the biggest artists in the pop music and bring it to "life" is like remembering him and not forget what he did.

  35. Lucy says – reply to this

Re: Sam – Well as it seems Sam; no some people would actually like to see a tribute to the King of Pop, because I personally feel he had a grand impact on dance and pop of now.
    Plus your allegation…
"No one cared about him until he died,"…
Is a lie, because I'm someone, my family are someones, my friends are someones, and when he still walked the earth he was an icon.
So what if it has been five years since he died, some people, I for one find his person very impacting, because if you want to us that logic then; it has been 46 years since Dr. Martin Luther King Junior died, so we should return to the inexcusable amount of racism that was publicized; it's been 72 years since Christopher Columbus found America, so all inhabitants that are not the Native American should leave then? No they shouldn't and most likely won't, so even if he may have done inappropriate or acts that aren't society acceptable, name one person who isn't the pope who hasn't.
Some people would just like to see an icon or a family once again, because I'm quite sure that the members of the Jackson 5 and Janet miss their brother.

  36. Lucy says – reply to this

Re: xxpatricia – xxpatricia I respect your view of this outcome; yes the dead should rest in peace; maybe this was done for a quick buck, but it could have been done to show the respect and love they help for an icon. To show that he lives on in our hearts, memories, and music.
I think that Tupac's hologram was more convincing, I still find it beautiful that many can remember a legend so vividly they'd put a slot to remember on of his most booming moments.

  37. Lucy says – reply to this

Re: Ann – Oh excuse me Ann, but it seems as though you haven't really took into consideration how not everything can perfect, because we're humans and we're not perfect. So if you took this as disrespect then fine, because if you looked at the crowd I think found this more as a tribute to one of music's legends, than disrespect.

  38. Lucy says – reply to this

Re: fartbag – Excuse me fartbag, do mind explaining how this was crass, sure everyone has the right to an opinion but I find this comment very… how to put it… odd?
Because I'm not too sure how it was crass, insensetive, vulgar, or any of the other synonyms for crass; they didn't slander Michael Jackson did they? They didn't insult him did they? They didn't make him do perverted things did they?
I think they tried to show him respect, to show his family and fans that he is still remembered and loved, thought of, and such, not to insult him, not to tarnish his name. For those of you who thought it was a hologram of someone else, it's all right, because we humans can't do everything right, so for the ones who thought it was The Michael Jackson's hologram let them enjoy the moment , let them just smile and say wow, because it's nice to see an icon again for awhile.

  39. Marc says – reply to this

I thought it was an amazing tribute. I think people are overthinking this. I was kind of emotional watching it. He was a true icon and was nice to see something like this being re-created. Jus sateen :-)

    My comments are as followed:
1.) Entertainment is a game of illusions and the BB MJ performance was just that! Research Michael Jackson tribute artists, E’Casanova Evans-watch ALL his videos and study him then take another look at the BB MJ ‘hologram’? MJ had a rare God given ability to truly electrify an audience and few performers are bestowed that.

2.) MJ was a perfectionist and in my opinion not only do I think he would not support that ‘hologram’ performance or the remixes on Xscape-why-they DON”T capture his true essence. If you compare just one song, Xscape, original version produced by iconic producer Rodney Jerkins, with MJ present and the Xscape remix, also remixed by Jerkins, it’s night and day-the original is HOT and captured MJ essence, the remix….well whatever.

  44. Insider X says – reply to this

My comments are as followed (Con’t):

3.) MJ was NEVER convicted of being a pedophile after multiple attempts otherwise let alone required by law to register as a sex offender. Law enforcement and the media brutally raped MJ by violating his only sacred privacy as they ransacked his home and seized uncounted property to prove their ‘case’ but found NOTHING! Meanwhile MJ is watching in a hotel room it all unfold via TV going crazy and the only person who could console him was his mother-that’s why MJ NEVER went back to Neverland. MJ NEVER wanted to settle out of court but the greedy people around him convince him to. There is unspeakable darkness in the powers that be in the media and entertainment and the media decides what you think, how you feel, how you dress, what you like etc. The media is a BRILLANT mind shaping beast of deception.

4.) MJ knew not real peace alive and it seems like in death he experiencing the same and at the end of the day the ones who control the masters are laughing all the way to the bank!

Re: mb – Thank You! So well said! No one has enough money to buy off the LA police department where committing crimes against children are concerned. He would have had to flee the country if they had found evidence because they really wanted him persecuted. I heard the LA police department has done some unspeakable things to minorities so I don't think one with money would have swayed anything. Thank You a comment very aptly put!
