Iggy Azalea Just Made Musical History — Like, Beatles Level History!

Iggy Azalea really is so fancy, in case you didn't already know, but we didn't know she was this epic!

Iggy has made history by having her two Top 100 songs in both the number one spot AND the number two spot on the Billboards at the same time!

Iggy's Fancy currently is first things first on the Billboards, and her new song Problem has taken the number two slot. The last time an act had a monopoly on the number one and two slots with their first two top 100 hits was the Beatles back in February 22nd, 1964.

Their hits at the time? I Want to Hold Your Hand and She Loves You! What's even more impressive is that after 6 weeks, the Beatles had their hold on all Top 5 songs.

Congrats Iggy! Life must be pretty Fancy when you're in the musical company of the Fab Four.

The last time an act did this was in 2005. Mariah Carey = #1 We Belong Together; #2 Shake It Off

Problem isn't an Iggy song. Is Ariana Grande going to lose her time to shine for that amazing song?

Problem is not iggy's song though, whereas beatles were the main act for both. And like the person above said mariah carey did the same in 2005.

I realize you are trying to push her really hard right now after your little tiff with k michelle pretty obvious lol

Re: lisa – Maybe Perez meant last WHITE person to do it.
Yet another factual error on this site.

It's her FIRST singles ever to be on the hot 100 list, and they reached the top. That's what it's all about.

How is it ok for a white Australian model to sound like she's from the hood? Since when did posers get a record deal? She doesn't talk like that so why is she trying to sound like a black man from the ghetto? Ridiculous. F'ing poser. And that is NOT ok.

    Problem is not her song.

June 27,2009 black eyed peas had I Got A Feeling debut at #2 While Boom Boom Pow was still #1 on the Hot 100!

This is factually incorrect on many levels. "Problem" is not an Iggy Azalea song, she is featured on it. It's Ariana Grande, and not even on Iggy's current album.

This is incorrect, she is a guest on Ariana's song and not only that but I could swear Mariah Carey did it with We Belong Together/Shake It Off, so that last time would not have been the Beetles.

Ugh yeah but back in 1964 it was called music. This is just crap. What has this music industry become?
