Alan Jackson is a country music LEGEND!

So in order to properly honor such a big name, the CMT Music Awards recruited two of the biggest names in country music today to perform one of Alan's classic songs!

Kacey Musgraves and Lee Ann Womack!

Even though Kacey confessed to drinking vodka before the show (as she always does) this performance was spot on!

The ladies did their own rendition of Livin' On Love before giving Mr. Jackson the first ever CMT Impact Award!

Ch-ch-check it out (above)!

Congratz on winning the Buckle, bucko!

It was horribly out of tune, and Alan should be commended for not cringing during the performance. CMT should have done him a favor and stopped showing him while they butchered his song.

    Worst "tribute" ever!

This was one of the worst! performances I've ever seen. They sounded so off key it was ridiculous. Kudos for Alan Jackson for remaining a gentleman after his wonderful song was totally butchered by these two. How disappointing it must have been for him. He so deserves more than this.

Oh, goodness: those who say this was a horrible tribute are definitely in the minority, as almost every comment about their performance review it as beautiful and wonderful. They are not out of key. ;) Amazing performance.

Re: ron – Us old Air Force guys know good music. That performance had emotion in it that me and my wife of 46 years understood. Great job ladies.
