This is so sad.
This is just awful.
At least four people were injured Thursday afternoon during a shooting spree at Seattle Pacific University. According to some reports, police have at least one suspect is in custody.
Local emergency service personnel reportedly claim at least four victims were taken to a nearby hospital with gunshot wounds ranging “from minor to life threatening.”
The shooting occurred at SPU's Otto Miller Hall around 3:30 p.m. and now the campus is on lockdown, which means everyone has been ordered to remain inside, lock their doors, and stay away from windows.
Seattle Pacific University is a Methodist school with around 4,000 students.
Less than two weeks ago, 22-year-old Elliot Rodger went on a murderous rampage in Isla Vista, CA — near UCSB — and seven people were killed, including himself.
UPDATE: Susan Gregg, a spokesperson for Harborview Medical Center, says one victim — a man in his 20s — has died.
Of the three other wounded, one critically injured woman is on her way to surgery and the other two, both men, are in satisfactory condition.
This is just so sad.
