Will Russell Brand's Defense Of Justin Bieber Convince You We Should Leave The Biebs Alone?

justin bieber racist videos russell brand defense young

Justin Bieber has found a surprising number of defenders after the leaked video evidence of his young racism.

Everyone from Whoopi Goldberg to 50 Cent has explained their take on why the Biebs shouldn't be held accountable for his transgressions.

Well now Russell Brand, a man who is no stranger to controversy himself, is weighing in with his own unique defense.

He says Justin was just too young! He says:

"It was ages ago when he used to have that haircut. You can’t do him for stuff he done when he had that haircut."

We know he was young, but it's not like he was five years old and didn't understand what he was saying! We're talking about someone who was 15! That's old enough to know better, isn't it?

Ch-ch-check out the video (below) to see Russell's entire explanation of his defense!

whatever, I'm so sick of the mob mentality over infractions everyone has made in their lives. I mean, Perez called someone a F @ G then cried (literally) on his website about it, yet he will be the first person leading the mob with a pitchfork if you wear a native american head dress, refer to yourself as a gypsy, or tell people you believe the Bible. He is the definition of hypocrite and he's a slime ball to boot. Perez has much more to apologize for in his adult life than Justin "Douche Bag" Bieber has as a young punk. Perez is an intolerant queen, liked by few, loathed by the sane.

It is unfortunate that the world has become this way. Everyone and their mother is wielding some form of recording device and has the tools to broadcast to the world whatever they wish. The real problem here is the people who put this stuff out there. And for what? Who benefits? Some people of the world get offended and a young guy has to defend every word he says and everything he does because the crazy inhabitants of this earth need to be in his face every minute. Adults being "offended" by a crude song or joke spoken by a 15 year old is beyond sad in the first place; how insecure (or bored) are you? I am 33, I work for a civil engineering company, am married with 2 kids, and I am a huge Justin Bieber fan. Of course I don't think some of the choices he has made in the past year have been great for his image, but boy needs to live and make mistakes. If my children knew some of the things I said and did when I was 20 years old, I wouldn't be a good "role model" either. I was just lucky enough to be 20 at a time when the world wasn't always being viewed through a cell phone camera.

I also think that he did take some accountability by not buying off the guy that tried to blackmail him

America can hate anyone it wants as its a crazy frothy beast and it needs a target from its lack of turgidity. Give us your tired and poor. We'll grind them up and spit them out. Our media has spoken.

You can't blame an impressionable 15yr old teenager especially when they are in the peer pressure stage of life trying to fit in. Besides you hear the word N**** in rap music daily and in speech towards each other constantly. If it's an oppressive word that should not be used then they should quit using it and stop promoting it… You are really grasping at straws here for a story. Quit being a douche Perez…

Didn't Perez call Will.I.Am the F word when he was well into his 30's?

Just give Bieber a big scarlett letter to wear around, America, and be done with it. Maybe waltz him through the streets of Salem with the big three mics running behind while he wears it. He was 15 and stupid. He wasn't done growing up, and he still isn't. Mentor youth, don't destroy them. Their brains aren't done developing at 15.

Daily Mail is hypocritical…colonialists, imperialists. Brits. are so competitive…they crucify any performer that isn't British. Justin Bieber is being accountable…he does not defend what he said. There is no question he was in the wrong. Prince Harry dressed up as a Nazi; unforgivable…enough said.
