Well, if she's gonna turn to anyone, we totally expect it to be the "consciously uncoupling" star!
Because, DUH! Who better to understand Beyoncé's pain than the Goop author?!
How does girlfriend have time to work on new music when she's got a baby on board?!
Well, Kelly Rowland is a member of Destiny's Child, so we should all be aware that she is unstoppable.
And unstoppable is exactly what she's feeling these days as she EXCLUSIVELY told us she's working hard on a new album that will certainly be just right:
"Right now, it’s still in the early experimenting phase, where I’m trying different things out and you see what sticks and what really speaks to you and what songs you feel like really reflect who you are at this present moment.
It’s definitely going! But it’s the beginning of a record, where nothing’s really set in stone right now, as far as sound is concerned, because I’m still trying out different things. It’s been a wonderful process so far!"
Working with Sia and Producer Jake Troth on her upcoming album:
"I actually already called Jake Troth! We’ve worked in the studio together already, since doing “The Game.” And Sia — I actually need to call her today, as a matter of fact, because I wanted to write with her! I am a fan!"
On How She Gets Inspired In The Studio:
“I think you and music kind of speak to each other. You kind of tell each other where you are. A producer can come in and start playing a melody on piano or guitar, or you can hear something in your head.
They just have to have this chemistry, or something, to happen, to where it creates the magic that makes the whole song pop off! It has to be something that’s going on with you that really makes a song come to life.”
On A Chance Of A Destiny’s Child Reunion Song On Her Upcoming Album:
“I did one on my last album, ‘You Changed,” but so far, we haven’t talked about any collaborations! They happen so spontaneously! If they happen, they happen!”
On Maintaining Strong Friendships:
“I think communication is so important in friendships. I also think that as a friend, you have to make sure that you’re a great friend to yourself, so that way, you’re a great friend to others. As far as being supportive and secure with yourself and what you bring to the table and to the friendship, what I bring to my friendships means a lot to me!
If I’m not being inspired, then how am I inspiring my friends? I don’t think that friendships are there for just talking on the phone and advice and all that other kind of stuff.
I think that they actually motivate you and feed you spiritually and mentally. That’s just as important as those really fun phone calls about everything else, but I have to feel like I’m being a great friend."
Whatever she does next, we know she'll do it just right.
And her baby will be right beside her when she does it!
