Nicole Kidman In Grace of Monaco Is Already Bombing At The UK Box Office! Will This Be Her Fifth Flop In A Row?!

Are Nicole Kidman’s Oscar-winning days over??

The Australian beauty is portraying a past Academy Award winner in her new movie Grace of Monaco. But not many British moviegoers decided to see this biopic when it opened last weekend!

The film took in only £238,862 - that’s roughly about $140K!

Oof! That’s a big ole bomb!

But bombs are nothing new for Nicole!

Her last four movies have all underperformed in theaters. The Railway Man only made $4 million here in the States. Stoker, The Paperboy, and Trespass on the other hand all made a COMBINED $2.5 million at the box office!

The last hit Nicole had was the 2011 comedy Just Go With It that she starred in with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston!

So…maybe stick to comedy, Miz Kidman?

Actually, scratch that. That’s just bad career advice.

We’re not sure WHAT Nicole can do to make the box office bleeding stop. But it looks like she’s got another flop on her hands.

You just can't be a good actress if you have a frozen face.

That conversion is horribly wrong!! It should be 'roughly $400k' when converting said amount from pounds to dollars…

I think you have the currency the wrong way around as the GBP is higher than the american dollar.

Princess Grace was beautiful woman who had a kind and gentle face. She doesn't look anything like Nicole Kidman. Nicole Kidman looks like Angela Lansbury at best. LOL

That's about $400,000 US. And why they would expect this to be a hit I don't know. This movie is supposed to take place when Grace was around 30 yrs old. She was about 5 yrs older than Kidman is now when she died at 52.

She has never really done good at the box office. Her only really hit that she was the lead of was the Others and that was over 10 years ago. Besides this movie looks horrible. You cant count an Adam Sandler/Jennifer Aniston movie as a success for her. She is in the same category as Gwyneth Paltrow. The only hit she had has a lead was Shakespeare in Love. Yes she was in the Iron Man movies. But they would have made the same amount of money with out her. Some how people think that they are big stars. Yet they both suck

People realize that Kidman is a total fraud. Fake pregnancy , botox, fake marriage to bisexual country star…etc.

This is what happens when agents follow the money. She's actually an excellent actress but I'm certain that the only projects presented to her are ones with the highest dollars involved and she'll never see screenplays that are far more interesting but a bigger 'risk' because the financing isn't in place. Hollywood exec's have the worst ideas - they're actually killing the industry, not the public as they're quick to point out. There's so many more interesting subjects for biopics than the Grace Kelley story.. that's bourgeois thinking right there. The film financiers don't know their audience so I'm not surprised that it's a bomb. Oh well, they all got paid so what do they care? :)

What do you expect?!! Nicole Kidman is in it! Of course it will bomb. She is the worst actress ever! Because of Tom Cruise's power she got in the acting business, then she is tall AND Tom Cruise's wife, so she got to wear Dior dresses, then the Botox injections…she looks like her husband's GRANDMOTHER! She should retire. She's the worst. (If I wasn't so shy I'd tell you how I really feel about her.)

Over-rated and over-paid. I don't know why she doesn't just retire and enjoy her bags of money, not to mention she has two small children that could occupy some of her time. I don't think people really want to see her in movies anymore.

Hey, don't forget her amazing performance in "The Others".. she was fantastic in that film! Pretty excellent in "Eyes Wide Shut" too. Don't forget to blame the writers for a film's poor reception at the box office… a dud is ALWAYS bad writing. Her only mistake was saying "yes" once she'd read the script.

Nicole has never been a box office draw. Loved Railway Man. She never should have taken on the role of Grace

Come on, let's be fair. The Railway Man, Stoker, The Paperboy, those films weren't supposed to be a "hit" no matter who's in it. Those are small budget films with limited promotion. Nicole is never an box office star in her whole career. She's an actress with edge and guts to embrace different roles.
