There's so much back-and-forth in this controversial case.
In fact, some think the cops might be flat-out lying

We're glad that Neptune didn't shake his hoary locks at this couple!
A Floridian pair, Sean McGovern, 50, and Mellisa Morris, 52, were found by off-duty public safety workers 7 miles from shore! We bet their eyes went from wet and salty because of the sea to wet and salty because of their happy tears!
According to the lucky duo, they had fallen off their boat in Key Largo, and because the boat was in gear, it sped off without them.
With no signal device and no life jackets, the two tread water for 14 hours before they were found by two sheriff's office detectives, a firefighter, and one of the men's father-in-law! They saw Sean using his t-shirt to wave them down! Good thinking Sean!
After drifting 10 nautical miles, the two were treated for mild hypothermia and jellyfish stings! We're just glad they're okay, and not "undah dah sea," to quote Sebastian.
