Lance Bass Made A Documentary About Gay Teens Being Forced Into Conversion Therapy! See The Shocking Trailer HERE!

| Filed under: TV NewsGay Gay GayFilm FlickersLance BassLGBT

This just breaks our hearts…

Growing up gay is challenging enough but for teens who are gay AND come from closed-minded Christian families, the pain and suffering they go through is unimaginable.

Lance Bass and former Real World star Mike C. Manning are shedding light on an unthinkable practice that some parents put their kids through once they find out they are gay.

Their new documentary Kidnapped for Christ follows those enrolled in Escuela Carib, a Christian behavioral modification program that uses corporal punishment in order to rid kids of their homosexuality.

The first official trailer for this upcoming Showtime documentary was released today and we cannot recommend watching it enough.

That this is happening to young people, in this year and in this world is just mind blowing.

Press PLAY above to get your first glimpse at Kidnapped for Christ.

The already award-winning doc will premiere on July 10th.

perez.. i love you but its not just Christian families… its all faiths.. most christians dont have an issue with it, nor would ever do that shit. think before you type dude. christians wont stone or castrate gays like people of islam do.. yet you dont mention that. dont be close minded like you claim christians are.

Just breaks my heart. I know someone who went through "conversion" (back to a heterosexual). Committed suicide a few years after.

Aren't these kids going through enough?

This is alarming and sickening to me. It's frightening when people can mask hate and personal agendas under the guise of religion. If I were a Christian, I would be just as upset that someone would abuse my religion to accomplish the exact opposite of its true teachings. This is a humanitarian crisis that will hopefully gain the attention of the U.S. government with a documentary like this bringing it to the forefront!
