Lorde Dishes On Skimpy Clothes & Rihanna! Find Out Why She's The New Voice Of Her Generation HERE!

Oh, Lorde, you are a wise woman.

In an epic interview, Lorde dished on why we shouldn't all be so dang preoccupied with what a woman wears:

"People should stop worrying about their daughters. I don't see a female without clothing as a terrible influence. There are worse things. Shooting people. Glorifying violence."

Praise the Lorde! There's truly enough actual violence and suffering in the world to worry about, then concerning yourself over what someone else is wearing!

Not only did Lorde provide this Royal statement, she also totally revealed why she's on Rihanna's team:

"You can't not look at Rihanna. I would buy anything Rihanna sold me. The way Rihanna embodies being a sexual woman…She's so fearless and confident, I just love her."

Amen! Any singer who has RiRi as a model is pretty smart in our books!

Lorde may be in love with being queen, but she certainly knows who to bow down to those who have come before her!

Rihanna is a slut and a disgrace, not " confident and fearless".

I am so sick of people tearing down artists. Miley, Beyoncé, who the fuck ever, they are putting on a show, it is entertaining. I don't know the last Adele concert I went to that people got out of their seats because they were so fucking pumped to be there. Who the hell cares what they wear, they are entertainers.

Re: sophie58 – You're an idiot. Why would you compare Adele to Miley, Rihanna etc ? Adeles music does not exactly inspire you to twerk, dance suggestively . Adele is all about her voice so yeah of coarse no ones getting "pumped up" like they do at Rihanna, Miley concerts
shut up and sit the fuck down.

You think she's mature but then she opens her mouth and you realize that she is just a 17 year old girl and a decade is more than half of her life. If she's the voice of this generation……………I worry

She is another one who needs to get an education about the role of women. I don't mind girls seeing a woman without clothes on - in the right context. But I do mind girls (and especially boys) seeing women consistently taking their clothes off to sell themselves. So many young people are bombarded with images of women's body parts shown in a way that portrays them as subservient to men. It is often subtle, but powerful none the less.

Re: rosebud99 – If you think women dressing how they please is portraying themselves as subservient to men, then you're part of the problem.

  12. 12

Re: DG – There is a difference between dressing to please yourself, and dressing to please men in order to get attention, a job, money etc. WOmen are all too often portrayed as objects in the media - we should be concerned about what message that sends to girls.

Re: rosebud99 – i don't see what the problem is really, as long as the woman in question is selling herself and not being sold then whats the big deal. even a prostitute who is making her own money without a pimp taking half her cut is in my books empowered.
